Tena Koutou Katoa,
St Joseph’s School is a year 1 to 8 Catholic Integrated primary school that offers a Catholic education for up to 160 children. It is centrally located in Dannevirke, and is the Parish School for St Joseph’s Parish. The school is a Roman Catholic School in which the whole community, through the general school programme and its religious education and observances, exercises the right to live and teach the values of Jesus Christ.
Our purpose is to provide our students with the knowledge, skills and values to be successful citizens in the 21st century while carrying out those actions with strong special character.
We believe in the nurturing of spirits and encouraging excellence through all of the curriculum areas. We work to do this through effective teaching and learning as well as a strong partnership with family/whanau.
St Joseph’s School looks to develop a desire to learn, participate and deliver to the highest standards, fulfilling one’s potential. Students are encouraged to achieve in the classroom as well as in wider school sporting and cultural activities.
We look forward to seeing you soon
