Dear Parents and Caregivers,

As you are aware, Maxine Haigh is currently on medical leave following an injury. This type of injury can take a considerable amount of time to recover from, and we are working closely with her medical practitioner to support a safe and sustainable return to school. We are following the professional advice we receive and will continue to adjust arrangements as needed.

At present, Maxine is job sharing with Kristi Brown, who is a trained and qualified teacher. They are planning and working closely together to ensure consistency and that the children’s learning continues smoothly. Kristi capably taking responsibility for her areas of the curriculum and the teaching and learning of the class.

Over the next couple of weeks, you will also have the opportunity to discuss your child’s report and progress. If you would like to arrange a meeting, please contact the school office and Maxine will contact you directly to organise a suitable time.

We appreciate your patience, understanding and continued support while Maxine continues her recovery.
