Our school cross country event is scheduled for Thursday, 7 May 2026, with a postponement date of Thursday, 14 May.

The Senior Team (Rooms 6, 5, and 4) will begin training for this event twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays and will involve running from St Joseph’s School to the lower Domain, including laps around the Dannevirke Athletics Ground.

Ākonga are asked to bring their sports uniform and appropriate running shoes on training days.

To help prepare for the event, we encourage students to build their fitness at home by walking or running 2.5 km (intermediate) or 2.9 km (senior).

If a student is unable to participate, please provide a note of explanation from a parent or caregiver.
